Here at Blue Arrow we are always looking for ways to streamline our workflows and want to help our clients do the same. Hubdoc is one of our favourite apps for helping to do just that.
Hubdoc is available to all Xero subscribers for free. Users of other accounting software can sign up to it for a small fee.
What is Hubdoc?
Hubdoc enables you to upload your invoices and receipts to it's cloud based service. It then extracts the key information from the documents and pushes it through to Xero.
There is an app you can download. This means that if you're out and about and have a business related expense you can quickly snap a photo of the receipt and it'll appear in Hubdoc, ready for you / your accountant / bookkeeper to review and post into Xero. No more forgetting about expenses or worrying about keeping hold of all those paper receipts!
You'll also get a custom email address which means you can forward any invoices / receipts received via email and they'll appear in Hubdoc. Super quick and simple!
